Hi there, I'm Shannyn, a Melbourne based photographer. 

I feel incredibly grateful to be able to tell peoples stories with my lens. I took the long (very long) way round to finding a life behind the camera. I spend over a decade of my career exploring my curiosity through travel. Firstly as a tour guide in Europe and then crewing boats around the world.

My approach is candid and although always professional, I aim to be a light and fun to slip into any scenario. Knowing when to document quietly and when to use my big voice to gather everyone together for those key shots. There is so many beautiful detailed unfolding on a wedding day and I love capturing the hugs, the sun beaming through the windows or the tear rolling down a guests face as the vows are shared. 

My camera has taken me to so many great places and I've documented weddings all over Australia and in some really special locations in America, Canada, Ireland, France, UK, Bali, Fiji. So always happy to join the adventure locally or internationally.
